Soy Sandra Ruano, profesora de Patchwork de nivel medio y avanzado en Komola Krafts. Participo en la elaboración de este “Mistery Quilt by Komola Krafts” con su primera entrega y estoy muy ilusionada por ello.
Cuando me contaron la iniciativa que querían tener para esta etapa de confinamiento, no dudé en formar parte de ella porque…¿qué mejor que pasar el tiempo haciendo aquello que más nos gusta? La situación ya es demasiado difícil como para no buscar vías de escape en aquellas cosas que nos hacen felices.
Primera Entrega Mistery Quilt by Komola Krafts: Quédate en Casa
En este bloque podemos trabajar en centímetros o en pulgadas. Sus medidas son de 10cm x 10cm ó 4″ x 4″ y en él haremos una casita con un corazón que representa nuestra casa y nuestro corazón. La repetiremos cuatro veces.
Esta primera casita la haremos con aplicación a puntada escondida usando el método inglés.
- Tela de fondo. – Cuatro trozos de tela de 10 cm x 10 cm ó 4″ x 4″.
- A – Pared – Cuatro trozos de 6.5 cm x 5 cm ó 2.5″ x 2″.
- B – Corazón – Cuatro trozos de 4.5 cm x 4 cm ó 1,3/4’’ x 1.5’’.
- C – Chimenea – Cuatro trozos de 1.5 cm x 2,5 cm ó 1/2’’ x 1’’.
- D – Tejado – Cuatro trozos de 9 cm x 4 cm ó 3.5’’ x 1.5’’.
- La Pared es un rectángulo y se coloca de manera horizontal.
- La Chimenea la haremos en modo espejo, es decir, dos chimeneas con el patrón del derecho y dos chimeneas con el patrón del revés.
A continuación detallamos los patrones sin margen de costura.
Recortaremos cada patrón en folio, cartulina o cartón fino, del que tengamos en casa. Lo fijaremos con alfiler por el revés de la tela y con la plancha vamos doblando el margen de costura hacia adentro.

Chimenea en efecto espejo
Tejado
Esto mismo lo repetiremos cuatro veces y con los cuatro patrones: Pared, Corazón, Chimenea y Tejado. A continuación, montaremos la casa de esta manera.
Coseremos todas las piezas a puntada escondida según el orden de colocación.
¡Y la casita terminada!
Espero que os guste y os resulte agradable y fácil de hacer en estos momentos de confinamiento.
Y ahora os adelantamos las telas que necesitaréis para el bloque del próximo jueves 16 de abril:
– 10 cms de tela en color gris que se vea cuando la pongamos contra el fondo, si no tenemos gris utilizamos lo que tengamos.

First Release Mistery Quilt by Komola Krafts: Stay at Home
In this block we can work in centimeters or inches. It measures 10*10 centimeters or 4*4 inches. On it we will make a house with a heart that represents our home and heart. We have to do this block 4 times.
The first house will be done with hidden stitch, using the English method.
Before I start listing the necessary material, we want you to realize that in this measurements you have to add the seam allowances, because if you don’t do it, it will not match with the rest blocks.
– Background fabric: 4 fabric pieces of 10*10 cm or 4*4 inches.
– A Piece: Wall: 4 fabric pieces of 6,5*5 cm or 2,5*2 inches.
– B Piece: Heart: 4 fabric pieces of 4,5*4 cm or 1,3/4*1,5 inches.
– C Piece: Chimney: 4 fabric pieces of 1,5*2,5 cm or 1/2×1 inches.
– D Piece: Roof: 4 fabric pieces of 9*4 cm or 3,5*1,5 inches.
At this point, we should have into account:
· The wall is a rectangle, so we have to place it horizontally.
· We have to do two houses with the chimney on the left, and the other two houses will have the chimney on the right, so we have to do this ones with “mirror effect” (using the pattern the other way around).

We will cut each pattern on paper, or cardboard, something that we have at home. We will hold it with a pin on the back of our fabric and with our iron we are going to fold the seam allowance inward. You can see how to do it and the assembly order in pictures if you scroll up.

Now I will detail the fabrics you will need for the next block:
- 2 fabric squares of 10*10 cm or 4*4” inches + seam allowance (using your background fabric).
- 10 cm of a fabric that contrast with your background fabric (in principle it is 10*110 cm but when you see the block and the patterns, you can decide if you use some fabric scraps that you have in your stash)
- 10 cm of a grey tone that you can see over your background. If you don’t have grey, it’s not a big deal, use what you have!

Of this two fabrics that we ask for 10*110 cm we will have leftovers, so we will use them in the following blocks.

Quando mi hanno parlato di questa iniziativa, per questa fase di isolamento, non ho avuto dubbi nel partecipare perché… che cosa c’è di meglio di passare il tempo facendo quello che più ci piace?
La situazione è troppo difficile per non cercare vie di fuga e di rifugiarsi in quella cosa che ci rende felici.
Prima puntata Mistery Quilt by Komola Krafts: Rimani a casa
Per questo blocco possiamo lavorare in centimetri o in pollici. La misura è di 10 cm x 10 cm o 4” x 4” e ci faremo una casetta con un cuore che rappresenta la nostra casa e il nostro cuore. La ripeteremo 4 volte.
Questa prima casetta la faremo con applicazione a punto nascosto o usando il metodo Inglese. Prima di elencare il materiale necessario, vogliamo che teniate in considerazione che alle misure indicate dovete sempre aggiungere i margini di cucitura. Se non li considerate non vi coincideranno i pezzi:
- Tessuto di fondo. – Quattro pezzi di stoffa da 10 cm x 10 cm o da 4″ x 4″.
- A – per la casa – Quattro pezzida 6.5 cm x 5 cm o da 2.5″ x 2″.
- B – per il cuore – Quattro pezzi da 4.5 cm x 4 cm o da 1,3/4’’ x 1.5’’.
- C – Camino – Quattro pezzi da 1.5 cm x 2,5 cm o da 1/2’’ x 1’’.
- D – Per il tetto – Quattro pezzi da9 cm x 4 cm o da 3.5’’ x 1.5’’.
A questo punto dobbiamo tenere in considerazione che:
- La casa è un rettangolo e si colloca in modo orizzontale.
- Il camino lo faremo a specchio, vale a dire, due camini con il cartamodello dritto e due camini con il cartamodello a rovescio.

Ritagliate tutti i cartamodelli su carta o cartoncino che avete in casa. Li fissiamo con gli spilli sul rovescio della stoffa e con il ferro da stiro andiamo a piegare il margine di cucitura verso l’interno.

Questo lo ripetiamo per quattro volte : casa, cuore, camino e tetto.

Cuciremo tutti i pezzi a punto nascosto seguendo l’ordine di collocazione.
E la casetta è terminata!

E adesso proseguiamo con il tessuto che vi servirà per il prossimo blocco di giovedì 16 aprile:
–2 quadrati da 10 x 10 cm + margini di cucitura per la stoffa del fondo dei blocchi.
-10cm di un tessuto in contrasto con il fondo (all’inizio è 10 cm x 1,10m però quando vedrete il blocco se avete dei pezzi che potrebbero stare bene li potete utilizzare).
-10cm di un tessuto di colore grigio che si veda quando lo appoggiamo sul fondo, se non avete il grigio usate un colore che avete.
Da questi due pezzi da 10 cm che vi abbiamo chiesto avanzerete del tessuto che userete successivamente.
In fine, già sapete che abbiamo creato un gruppo in Facebook per condividere i blocchi realizzati, risolvere i dubbi e tutto quello che vi serve. Vi aspettiamo lì!!!
